CarPlay TV Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

About this policy

CarPlay TV lets you play media sources you add, browse websites, and mirror your screen over supported connections. This policy explains how information is used within the app.

Information stored on your device

Source addresses and source login credentials you provide, channel lists, favorites, bookmarks, appearance preferences, and the daily free playback allowance are stored on your device to operate the app. The browser may store website session information, cookies, and cached content. Only add source links and credentials from providers you trust.

Internet connections and third parties

When loading content, channel logos, and web pages, the app connects to the relevant providers. These services may receive connection information such as your IP address and request details. Any credentials required by a source are sent to that provider. Third-party icon services may be used to load website icons. Websites you visit and content providers are subject to their own privacy policies.

Purchases

Apple manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. The app uses your purchase status to determine access to features. Payment processing is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

CarPlay and screen mirroring

The interface may display the CarPlay connection status and the vehicle connection name provided by the system. When you start screen mirroring, content visible on your screen is transmitted to the connected display. Personal information may be visible while sharing. You can end sharing using the stop button.

Diagnostic information

The app may keep diagnostic logs on your device to investigate connection and playback issues.

Managing your information

You can remove sources and bookmarks from their respective screens, change your favorites. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription started through Apple.

Support requests

If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Support emails are handled through Gmail and are also subject to Google’s privacy practices. Do not include passwords or source credentials.

This website

These support pages do not use analytics scripts or advertising trackers. The hosting provider may process technical connection information to deliver and protect the website.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when app features or information practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
